For your viewing pleasure: a vivid new video for “Full Spectrum,” a single from Zilla Rocca’s latest EP, Nights and Weekends, released by World Around Records. The song features a superb verse from fellow Wrecking Crew member and Mello Music Group artist Has-Lo, who’s been having a banner year, dominated by the release of his widely acclaimed (XXL, OkayPlayer, URB) album In Case I Don’t Make It. The chemistry between the two emcees shines on this track, produced by Boston-based beatsmith Dr. Quandary. Zilla Rocca wanted a distinctive look for this video, so this summer he raised the funds via Kickstarter to it shoot on actual Super8 film with directors Joe Castro & Justin Clowes. The result is a gritty, eye-popping video that perfectly compliments an exceptional single.
